Conditions for Use and User Responsibilities

All notarial acts and services carried out by Public Notary 109 are done according to the laws and regulations of the State of California and the United States. Our notaries are commissioned public officials, impartial and independent of all parties in the acts of giving notarial acts. Public Notary 109’s notaries carry out their duties within a legal scope as defined under notarial law. Public Notary 109 does not represent a party in any capacity, nor does it act as an attorney at law for any party. Public Notary 109 may provide general advice or information allowing customers to complete a notarial procedure; however, we do not provide specific legal advice or establish an attorney-client relationship. Users who require legal representation or legal advice beyond the scope of a notarial act should seek competent legal counsel.

Public Notary 109 offers online notarial fee calculation and mobile applications for iOS and Android. Digital tools are intended to improve end user experience, enabling clients to transparently estimate notarial cost and conveniently book appointments.

All information contained in our resources is provided on an “as is” basis. Although we put forth every effort to ensure the correctness and accuracy of our online tools, any cost estimates are provided for illustrative purposes only, and do not constitute a binding quotation. Fees payable to Public Notary 109 depend on the nature and complexity of a particular procedure as well as its legal requirements, based on current regulations. Our Company assumes no liability with respect to any differences between estimated and actual costs.

Appointments, Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments for notarial services may be made via the website or mobile app, or by contacting the Public Notary 109 office at (562) 969-4196 or [email protected] directly. Appointments are offered in person and virtually based on availability and selected type of requested service.

If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, we request that notification be provided 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide adequate notice of an appointment change will result in the imposition of a cancellation fee or abandonment of the deposit. Public Notary 109 also reserves the right to change or cancel appointments for any reason including but not limited to emergencies, operational constraints, or legal compliance obligations; and will make all reasonable efforts to provide preemptive notice to impacted customers.

Fees, Payments and Refunds

Notarial fees will be charged based on the type and difficulty of each procedure, as set forth in relevant laws and regulations. Our online fee calculator and mobile application offer users a transparent tool to estimate costs before using the services. The final amount for notarial fees will be stated and confirmed to users before notarial acts.

Accepted means of payment include credit/debit cards, electronic transfers, or any other means selected by Public Notary 109. Payments shall be accepted only in U.S. dollars.

Refunds can be offered only in accordance with the refund policy, a copy of which is available upon request. Generally, fees due for the resulted notarial acts shall not be refunded. In particular, in cases the service could not be provided due to statutory restrictions or errors attributable to us, refunds of the entire amount paid or part thereof can be affected at our sole discretion.

User Conduct and Acceptable Use Agreement

You consent to use the Site and services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe, restrict or inhibit the rights of others to use and enjoy the Site and services. Such prohibitions include among others:

  • Post or transmit any false, misleading, inaccurate or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, computer systems or user accounts and/or confidential information

Severability and Waiver
